Dr. Valerie Lyons serves on the advisory board of CeADAR Irelands National Centre for AI, and has 3 decades of experience as a senior cybersecurity and privacy leader. Currently she serves as Board Director, and Chief Operations Officer at BH Consulting, a data protection and cybersecurity firm based in Ireland. She was included in Europe's top 100 women in cybersecurity and is a member of the European Data Protection Board's pool of experts. She also lectures on cybersecurity, privacy, and ethics in several Irish academic institutions. Valerie holds an award-winning PhD in organizational approaches to Information Privacy, Ethics and CSR. She is also author of the best-selling book The Privacy Leader Compass.
